A Sad Day for Life

First, let me say one thing before I get to the point: my intention in this post is not to bash our president or dishonor him.  I do respect his position of authority and believe that the Bible teaches a responsibility to honor those over us.  With that said, I do not hesitate to strongly disagree with what he has done today.  President Obama gave approval for federal funding to be used on embryonic stem cell research.  This means that countless lives will be destroyed in experimentation.  There is not much (if anything at all) that shows the death of these precious babies will save anyone that is sick.  And even if there was, it wouldn’t be worth it in the least.  Helpless little ones who have no ability to choose are being thrown away in the name of science.  This is serious and incredibly sad.  Please join me in praying for our nation…for our president.  Saying mean things about him will not change this situation, it may in fact turn people off.  But we have a God who is “mighty to save”.  He and only He can save these babies.

Thank you Megan for this post. How truly sad it is to think that even as I have this little life growing inside of me, there are other little ones whose lives will be ended before they come to take their first breath. My heart breaks.

Dear Megan, I too thank you for stating your position on such a horrible and needless decision by President Obama. I agree with your position and the way you stated it, completely.

I love you and thank God for you, dear one.
