…Mother’s Day.
I got to thinking about it and decided Mom is one of the most important people ever. She supports, feeds, cares, laughs, comforts, gives advice, provides a free taxi service, does the laundry, does a million things I don’t know about, studies with me, shops with me, talks to me, loves me.
Thank you mom. :)
Isn’t she lovely? (I know she wouldn’t want me to write that here…but…oh well.)
On Sunday, Jeff, Desiree and the kids came over and we celebrated our mother over a delicious meal (Jeff brought the ham…yum).
We enjoyed playing in the great outdoors and spending time with Mattie.
Brayden got a kick out of chopping down our large crop of bamboo.
Look at her little cheeks…and pink fingernails.
We went on a walk…
…had a little swing…
…and relaxed with Mattie. (Brayden’s not in these because most of this time he was chopping down bamboo.)
The two mother’s we celebrated.
So that was Mother’s Day at our house…hope yours was great!

I agree Megan, Mothers will always have a very special place in the family.. because they are the pillars that hold it together=) Looks like you had as much fun celebrating your mother as we did ours. I couldn't help but notice those delicious looking strawberries on the plate! Wow, that is something that I REALLY miss!

Your mother is really amazing! Hope you are feeling better!
Awwwww... you look just like her!!!
Megan, you have an awesome mom! I think your taste in mothers is exceptional! She's a blessing from heaven to me, too, and to many others. God is good to you and me to give us a mum and wife like Dixie.
