Saturday Events

I finally sat down and loaded up the pictures from Saturday! In the morning I played the piano at a department store (my teacher is a member of an association that gives us this opportunity). I played a duet and a solo. Below is a picture of my wonderful duet buddy, Elsie. She is awesome on the piano! She has only been taking lessons a few months but is already playing things that I didn't get to until I had been playing for several years.

In the afternoon we went to a gorgeous open house. The home is beautiful and its occupants are wonderful people. It was fun to be there and get to know their family. Right after the open house we headed to my brother's house to give Laney her birthday presents. She's a big two! Jeff grilled steaks and they were fantastic!
