My daddy just got back from a 2 week trip to England. We are overjoyed to have him home! He brought back some great pictures so I thought I would share a few with you. Enjoy!
Dad stayed in this church for his first week in England. The part of the church from the left side of the red sign were his quarters (just the front part, not all of the back of the church:)).
Isn't that lush? This was taken by Dad in Scotland.
I thought these houses were so cute. I love the colors!
Another very old church. It's amazing how everything is so green over there...I mean, it's winter time!
Dad is working with the father of this sweet family and stayed with them this past weekend. My mom and I are probably going to be going to England this summer and I can't wait to meet them in person!
A couple of nights before Dad left he took the family out to eat. They were babysitting six week old Leo, so he got to go along. Isn't he cute?!
That's all the pictures for now. Please pray for the work of God that is going on in the UK. Dad works for a company that provides chaplains for businesses. We are so excited that they are starting up in Europe. Daddy will have to be gone a lot this year, but part of the time it looks like we will be with him (sounds like super great blogging material to me!)
On another note, here's a Texas weather update: yesterday the high was around 78 degrees. Today the high was 44 (that happened this morning) and now it's snowing! I guess the saying, "If you don't like the weather in Texas, wait 15 minutes and it will change" is pretty true!

Oh Megan! I Ooed and Ahhed over very picture. The grass looks so juicy and the air so clean and vibrant. I could stare at that picture all day... What an experience! The church is absolutely gorgeous.

P.S. Be in prayer for the Texas primaries today! He is the God of the impossible.
We had so much fun when we went to England!! And look, the snow I sent you really worked! :-D
So glad your dad is home safe and sound! The pictures were just beautiful!! I hope you and your mom (and me!) get to go to England this summer!! What a great memory that will be!
Megan,
Really lovely pics. Makes me think of our old friends, Ryan & Stacey. Also, the picture of rolling green meadow in Scotland made me think of Chariots of Fire and Eric Liddell. How awesome to see these sights from little Lavon, TX.
love, Miss Ann
See ya tomorrow!
Dearest Megan: Thanks for the photo catalogue of my trip. I hope you and Mom will be with me on a future visit. It would be a blessing from the Lord for that to happen--a once in a lifetime trip.
Love, Dad
