It's a good place to be.

We arrived at our house last night around 11:15.  Mr. Dan and Stewart (from church) picked us up at the airport.  Thank you guys! They even fulfilled my request for some Tex-Mex food.  Taco Bell...Mmmmmm.  Awesomeness.

Everything was pretty smooth.  We had another "angel" help us along the way at the Philadelphia airport (by the way, if you can avoid Philly, do.  I didn't feel like I was in the City of Brotherly Love.)Mom and I were trying to manage six suitcases to get to our connecting flight.  All of a sudden, a guy comes along with a big cart, puts our suitcases on it and just weaved us in and out of lines, got our bags rechecked and made us feel so happy (he made up for all the other un-welcoming people.)  He was awesome!  I just felt like giving him a huge hug (don't worry, I refrained)!! 

When we walked into the kitchen we saw a happy "Welcome Home" sign along with a bowl of muffins and a lovely candle!  Our dear friends, the Swords who have been looking after the house left it for us...they must have known that we would need breakfast.  I'm eating one of those scrumptious muffins as I type.  So good.

I'll miss many things about England, the climate, the grocery stores (sounds weird I know), the people, Bennett's Bakery, the lovely accent and more, but what I'll miss the most (or rather, who I'll miss the most) is this:

Yesterday marked the beginning of many weeks of separation from Dad.  He is having to stay in England to finish up work over there.  We already miss him! (*sniff*)
